West Ashley

Tourists can still visit Charlestowne Landing today and see how the original colonists lived. Many grand plantations were built along the Ashley River including that of Eliza Lucas Pinckney, and Drayton Hall, Middleton Plantation, and Magnolia Gardens which can all be visited today.

There are many older, charming neighborhoods West Ashley as well as newer, modern homes. Young, old, and everyone in-between can find plenty to do in the area which boasts new, trendy shops, and plenty of restaurants.
